How Can I Serve The World I Want To Live In?
So that it may emerge with ease and grace

I trust that this finds you in Divine health, peace, and harmony.
First of all, I want to be very clear on one thing. The Path to Freedom Blog is not political, nor will it ever take any sides (other than the side of Love, Light and Freedom) in any public or worldly affairs.
This is a blog about my personal spiritual journey as I am continuously growing, unfolding, and expanding so that more of Spirit may be expressed in, as, and through me.
A number of years ago, I made the conscious choice not to follow the news or read newspapers habitually. I am also hardly ever on social media. This is for the simple reason that these tend to pull me down into lower vibrations and distract me from being a vehicle of Love and Light on the planet.
But yesterday, I just happened to see somewhere, and I don’t even remember where I saw it, something about Elon Musk during President Trump's inauguration doing something that looked like a Nazi Salute.
As I watched the video recording of Musk’s appearance, the gesture he performed certainly resembled that salute, which has come to signify and be the embodiment of an idea and ideal of oppression, segregation and separation rather than oneness and unity.
And as I was searching the internet for that video, I also stumbled across an article where it said that President Trump, as one of his first executive decisions as president, has decided that the US is to leave the World Health Organization (WHO).
Once again, this is not a political blog and I obviously don’t have the full picture or scope where any of these two events are concerned. But to be honest, becoming aware of these two events did trigger ideas and projections in my mind.
And, while I have no idea what prompted Elon Musk to perform that particular gesture or Donald Trump to have the US withdraw from an organization that is doing so much good on the planet, I was reminded that I have an important part to play in midwifing the world I want to live in.
I am not an activist; I will most likely never take the streets to protest, march, or anything like this, but I still have my part to play.
I mean, we all have a unique part to play, and no one's part is better or more important than any other. They are just different parts, different callings.
It’s like the saying that goes: None of us can do everything, but every one of us can do something.
So, with Mr Trump and Mr Musk at the helm of the United States, making choices from whatever consciousness they are in, we may be seeing an increase in segregation and separation on the planet.
And as a segregated, separated, and elitist world is not the world I want to live in the question I now need to ask myself is: How can I serve the world I want to live in?
Another way to phrase that question is: How can I stand in service to a just and loving world that is working for all beings on the planet?
Because that world, a new world will not come forth unless and until enough of us are saying yes to it.
And as always where manifestation is concerned, the very first stage is to be able to articulate and describe the good we wish to experience. And so I need to be clear on what this new world looks like. I need to be able to articulate and describe what a just and loving world is to me before I can serve it.
Until I am clear on what that world looks like, I will just be running with blindfolds, not consciously moving in any particular direction.
It’s like that saying: Action without a vision is chaos.
So, what does this new world, this just and loving world, look like to me? Well, it is a world where all human beings are living as equals. It is a world where everybody has their basic and legitimate needs met - a home, enough food to eat, and enough money to live a good life, access to health care, and schools for the children.
It is a world where everyone is accepted and respected, regardless of who or where they are or what they look like.
It is a world where all beings are free to lead a meaningful life, following their hearts and their inspiration in a space of beautiful and wonderful creativity.
A world of Oneness, Unity, and Inclusivity.
This is the world I want to live in.
And so I need to be clear on that. I need to hold that vision alive and active within my consciousness.
The second stage of manifestation is to move myself into vibrational alignment with this vision. What this means is that I need to take on and sustain the feeling tone that this is new world already exist and that it is emerging now.
It is not something that is going to happen in some future moment, but in the infinite mind, this world already exists, and it is demonstrating and manifesting itself here in this dimension now. It is being birthed and midwifed now, as we speak.
This is actually the highest level of vibrational alignment, but at the bare minimum, we need to at least believe that it is possible.
And then from that inner feeling tone of doneness, I get to move into inspired action. And as I shared, as I am not an activist or protester or anything like that, what that action looks like to me is simply being a living and moving emanation and expression of that world.
That whole Be the change you wish to see in the world that Ghandi talked about. And augmented by the old adage: Let It Begin With Me.
And so my job is not to tell anyone else how they are to move through life. Nor is it to loudly protest and make my voice heard. This may be what others are called to do, but what is mine to do is to focus on me being a living embodiment and demonstration of that just and loving world.
So, as I move through life, I need to actively and consciously treat and meet every being (not only human beings) I encounter as the Divine Being of Love and Light that we all are. Meeting them as equals and with unconditional love and respect.
This is how I get to serve this new world. This is how I get to participate in the midwifing of that new world.
Obviously, a huge part of this is forgiveness. Which simply means to realize that everybody is doing the very best they know how to do in any given moment. That we can only choose from our present level of awareness or consciousness. Even when our actions may be hurtful or lead to suffering, we are still doing the best we can in that moment.
Like Jesus said: Forgive them, for they know not what they do.
And so rather than reacting, complaining, bemoaning, judging and condemning, I get to do the inner work of coming back to unconditional love and compassion. Compassion actually means the understanding of lack of understanding.
And as I do this inner work, and as enough of us do this inner work, the new world will emerge. It will not emerge from us reacting to that which is, or resisting it, but it will only emerge as we respond and choose from the good we wish to experience.
The principles of the sacred laws inform us that whatever we turn our attention to the most will and must come into our experience. And that this is so regardless of whether we are turning our attention toward what we don’t wish to experience or what we do wish to experience.
So how I can serve the world I want to live in, is by holding the vision of that world, the intention to live in that world, and then move in that direction.
Now, please do not hear me say that we are to move as indifferent, insensitive robots or drones. Nor are we to deny that there are things that need to change or pretend that everything is systemically good and fine.
We are not to walk through life with blindfolds on.
There are a lot of things that need to change, a lot of systemic changes that need to happen for the new world to emerge. And, of course, we will be affected and have feelings and emotions by things that happen in the world around us. That is a part of this human incarnation, to have human experiences.
And there is absolutely nothing wrong with having the human experiences of anger, resentment, animosity, or any of these human emotions.
But we get in trouble when we get stuck at the level of these. When we let them take over and guide our steps and actions.
We want to, and we need to let the heart lead. We need to let Love lead, compassion lead. Otherwise, we will not be midwifing the new world but simply keeping the old alive and active within us and in the world.
Let us let the heart lead. Let us let Love lead. Let us let compassion lead. Let us let Oneness and Unity lead.
That is how I, we, give birth to a new world, a world that is for all beings on the planet.
And let's do this to the very best of our ability. We will fall. We will be hijacked by egoic judgments and opinions. We will find ourselves held hostage by the lower vibrations of the collective human consciousness.
And all of that is alright. When we fall, we get back up, and we begin again. And again. And again.
As much as we want to hold the world in unconditional love and compassion, we need to hold ourselves in that space too.
But, while we are to be gentle and kind towards ourselves, we also need to seek to be on the edge of our unfolding. Consciously, actively, and courageously leaving the old and the limited behind. Consciously, actively, and courageously stepping into the new, into the unknown.
Pushing ourselves beyond old confines and limitations. Or, to quote the old Star Trek tagline - To boldly go where no man (one) has ever gone before.
This is my charge, this is our charge. And now is the time for me and us to answer that call beyond what we may have done in the past.
Let us say Yes to being luminous beacons of Love and Light here on the planet at this time.
And let us say Yes to it now. We need to choose it or it will not happen. And the time for me and you to choose it is now. Not tomorrow, not next week or next month. But now.
